Real Art Road Show

On Tuesday the 28th of October room 11 went to the Real Art Road Show to see what type of art there was and I think that all the art was great. Some art was weird to look and and some were just funny. Everybody as a different peace of art that they liked but I have 2.

There was one that was carved out of wood and a duck with a persons body was holding a gun at a person that I think was Gorge Washington and in my mind I was thinking that the duck-man was saying to Gorge Washington,
                                                                                                         
"NEVER SHOOT MY FAMILY AGAIN ELSE I WILL SHOT YOU"

And the other one that I liked was 5 peaces of green stone and they went from smallest to biggest and they were all the same shape of a Tiki without the eyes and patterns. I think they were not the same green stone because some were different greens. Some were light and some were dark.

My Holiday Incident

One fine and hot day I was going to eat lunch and then mow the lawn. But then I went all lethargic and fell on the ground. My mom was trying to talk to me but I was not responding to her. My mom went to the phone and rang the doctors and they said to go to the hospital. So she rang the hospital and they came over to our house. They finger pricked me and tried to talk to me but I still didn't respond to them. They took me to the ambulance and I got a ride in it. I felt really terrified and scared like mad when I hopped into the ambulance and my hart was beating so fast that it felt like it was going to blow up. It was not long until we got to the hospital. They put me on a wheelchair and took me to a bed and the doctors gave me a headache tablet and I went to sleep for 4 hours and then I woke up and they gave me some food to eat. I had mash potatoes with gravy and peas with meat. For pudding I had ice cream. The nurse came and made me walk to see if I would of went wobbly and if I

Sewell Peak

Sewell Peak was a metaphoric introduction for all the year 10’s into NCEA for next year. It is saying that going through level 1,2,3 will be challenging but once you make it to the end it will all be worth it, all the pain, sweat and tears that were shed were all for a good reason. Once we started the walk we all knew what we were heading into, a steep hill with a good view at the top and we all knew that we were going to struggle going up. But I found that if you don’t focus on the pain and just look at the nature around you, you will enjoy the walk and find it more of a brisk walk than a challenging hike. At the bottom of the walk we found that the trees were really diverse and were going to different heights but as we got higher the trees started to deplete and become more shorter and than becoming shrubs and bushes.
