End of year review
Highlights of 2013: 1. Getting a Google drive and a blog. 2. Going on Minecarft for topic. 3. Getting gold awards for my Main Stars. Fave ICT skill I have learnt is... Our local Environment

My Grandparents Day card
Hi Uncle Neil, If you want can you come to Grey Main School for Grandparents Day. At 10 am you can visit the classes, Room 11-Byron Room 17-Tristan. At 10.30 it will be little lunch. At 11 am it will be assembly in the hall and you know where to stand. At 12.30 it will be lunch and if you want you can bring $5.00 and you can pay in the office and you get Nachos and Banana bread. Term 3 Review
The best thing about the term is The Big Day Out because we didn't do any school work for the whole day. The worst thing WAS nothing. Next term I hope we get more school work to keep us busy.
My favourite food
My favourite food is a chocolate volcano cake with chocolate source in the crack in the middle of it so it runs out through the side when you eat it.
Big Day Out
On Monday the 16 room 11,10 and 9 went on Big Day Out. Only year 5 students and some teachers went on it and the year 6 went on a ski trip. The first thing we done for the BDO (Big Day Out) was swimming at the swimming pool. We got to go on the hydroslides and swim. It was so fun. After we swam we went to the civic center to have little lunch when we first got there and then we played some games. We played, bolls, mini trampoline, table tennis, badminton, soccer, mini hockey and Xbox 360. My favourite was the badminton because I won it. After
My lemon meringue
Measuring how much butter I needed. Putting the crunched up cookies at the bottom. Poring the mixture into the container. Poring egg white on the mixture for the top of my lemon meringue. Making the top smooth. In the oven. Just out of the oven. On the plate all ready t eat.
My cub camp
O n Saturday I went on a cub camp right after my league game. It was at Kahurangi to stay there for a night. When we got there we had to pack all our stuff into our rooms and we could have free time for 30 minutes. There is this story about a man named Terrible Trever and he lives in a bush that is up a hill and he comes down to get cubs and scouts to worn other people to get out and never come back. I believe he is real because I saw a person out the window and it was NOT a leader because everyone was inside and no one was outside because the temperature outside was under -5 and everyone was cold and sitting next to the fire and when I went there NO one wanted to let me by the fire but I had some Milo and then everyone went to get some and then I was the first one at the fire place. After 20 minutes we had to get a jacket because we went out to get some sticks so we can cock some dough and put it over the fire to cock. How to get up to space
I'm going to tell you how to get up to space from a rocket.. Step 1. Go to your rocket. Step 2. Go to the front seat and make your seatbelt click and then press the button and LIFT OFF. Step 3. Once you have gone the anicphere you will recinice that the space ship will brake into 3 pieces. Step 4. Once the 3 pieces of the rocket has gone you can unclip your seatbelt and you put it on auto drive. Step 5. If you get thirsty or hungry you can go to the frig and get something to eat or drink, BUT do not let it flote away. Step 6. If you see a red button flashing auto drive is off and you need to get back to your seat and clip in to your seatbelt and drive your self back to earth ONLY if your oxigane tank is nearly emty. Step 7. When you can see the ground need to eject your seat and then your seat willcome out with you and you will need to press a green button to let your paracute out. Step 8. Cubs
On Thursdays at 6.30 I go to Cubs. At Cubs we do many activities.Our theme is All About Challenge. Here is the roster. On the first day the leaders show us how to do lots of different knots and they also tell us the meaning of it. My favourite knot is the Bow Line because it saves people when they have fallen down a hole. In week 2 we visited the police station and everyone was so happy, BUT when we got locked into the sell they wanted to go back to their car and go home but when we got out we just had to go with the flow and carry on. In week 3 we done shadow puppets. We used our hands and we made our on puppets out of cardboard and pipe cleaners. The sixes (That i'm in) weren't doing it it because we had to plan what we were going to do on sixes night. In week 4 we done the town trail hunt where we had to find out stuff and then we had to go to agents that were hiding anywhere and give them what we had and then we would get the next clue. A day of a life in Grey Main School
8.3 0 - We are aloud to come onto the playground. 9.00 - Bell rings to come into the class and do wordstudy. 9.15 - We get milk. 9.30 - We read and do activities that connect with reading. 10.00 - We write in our writing books or on the blog. 10.40 - We have morning tea for 20 minutes. 11.00 - Then we do our basic facts for 2 minutes and then we asses it. 11.15 - We do maths until lunch. 12.30 - We have our lunch. 1.30 - End of lunch. 1.40 - Art, ICT or blogging. 3.00 - We all go home when we hear the bell ring.
