Explanation on Tornadoes

Walt: Write an Explanation
In writing we were working on explanations and we allowed to write it on whatever we wanted. I wrote on how tornadoes are formed because it was a thing that I have been wondering for a very long time. I have always been interested in tornadoes and how strong they can get and how much damage they can do to buildings and landscapes.

Here is my writing.
Tornadoes are formed during thunderstorms.
A tornado is a destructive vortex of violently rotating winds that have a look of a funnel-shaped cloud and it advances under large storms and get bigger as they go.
Tornadoes are one of the most violent storms.
You need warm and cool. When these two airs mix then they create a strong twirling wind that can destroy mostly everything that is in it’s way and they cannot be stopped.
Tornadoes cause a wide range of damage and destruction, staying safe during one is important.
Tornadoes are the cause of a lot of deaths.
So if you see one and you’re outside look for shelter in a strong building. If not, lie flat and face-down on the ground, protecting the back of your head with your arms. Get as far away from trees and cars as you can because they may be blown onto you from the tornado.
In America they have Shelters ready for these types of situations so they are ready for it when it hits.
Tornadoes vary in size and strength.
Tornadoes can swallow and spit mostly anything.
They can start out small and then get bigger as the time goes by. The largest Tornado ever recorded was in Hallam, Nebraska on may 22nd 2004. It was 2.5 miles (4.0km) wide and got up to winds of 200mph (320 km/h). It broke the world record for the biggest tornado ever formed in the world. The Fujita scale is a scale for rating tornado intensity, based primarily on the damage tornadoes inflict on human built structures.
